A living tradition is something you return to again and again.

If you teach, you'll know the feeling: sequences that work, information that lands, classes that go well by every visible measure, and still a nagging sense that something underneath it hasn't been addressed. This is your next step... This very special Summer Series is an opportunity to practice with a fresh perspective. Yoga is the residue of practice, not just the practices themselves. Being a skilful teacher, then, isn't only about sequencing well. It's about creating the conditions for that state to occur, for your students and for yourself. Over five days, Lisa Petersen, Leila Stuart and Doug Keller each open a different door into this state: exploring self-inquiry, embodiment of the Koshas, and the role of the breath. Two days of journal prompts in between give you space to work out what this means for how you teach, not just how you practice. It's a short, live companion to that same question explored in full in our self-paced course, Being Yoga: A Living Tradition - you don't need to have taken it to join, but the two sit naturally together. For yoga teachers who want to refresh their perspectives, and for curious practitioners and yoga therapists too.
