Join this introduction to SATYA (Somatic Awareness Training for Yoga Attunement), a practice designed to relieve chronic pain, manage stress, and improve flexibility through gentle, mindful movements.

In this 2-hour workshop, you’ll learn foundational techniques that promote joint mobility, tissue hydration, and a deeper connection with your body. SATYA practice (Sensory Awareness Training for Yoga Attunement) is helpful for maintaining healthy muscles, joints, bones, and organs. We use rocking, pumping, sliding, and gliding movements to increase hydration of the tissues, support joint mobilization, and keep the spine supple. This workshop is an introduction to SATYA. When you join this workshop you will be introduced to the foundational movements as well as the theory behind the SATYA practice via an informative lecture. All movements will increase your perceptual skills to observe changes in your respiratory rhythm, blood pressure, nerve pulsation, and any slight shift in tension in your myofascia.
