What to expect

This workshop will approach Western scientific concepts of neuro-anatomy, biochemistry and neural pathways; and how they are represented in the Ayurveda system.  - How our individual Neurophysiology reacts to different stressors in life and at different stages of life. These are to be brought to life with case studies and our personal experiences. (Out of respect for confidentiality, this session will not be recorded.) - How does Yoga philosophy (especially from the Yoga sutra of Patanjali) explain human psychology and behaviour, which are intimately linked to our Neuro-physiology. - What are the common pathways within the Western medical system in helping individuals who present with dysregulation, and how our Yoga practice can complement these practices (both for ourselves and others who we are teaching). As you will be attending from the comfort of your own home or studio, please bring along any props (Eg. mat, blocks, bolsters, blankets, eye mask) for your personal comfort.
