You already know anatomy. You have a somatic practice. This course shows you how to bring both into therapeutic teaching.

This Integration Course bridges yoga theory and therapeutic application. You will cultivate interoceptive awareness through somatic inquiry, explore experiential anatomy and other embodiment skills, and integrate the deeper teachings of the Yoga tradition into how you teach and live.  Learn the why behind therapeutic yoga practices for common conditions, and the how of designing powerful classes using a four-step teaching model. Your personal practice will evolve throughout the course. It becomes the foundation for helping students regulate their nervous system and develop agency in their own growth and evolution.

Each session builds on what you already know

Monthly cohort meetings balance structured learning with space for your questions. Each session builds on what you already know, whether you gained it through the Advanced Teacher Training core courses or through your own training and experience, and deepens it through practice. The cohort models the pedagogy you will carry into your teaching: transferable principles over rote repetition, the teacher as guide or facilitator, student agency, and the encouragement of self-realisation. Open to Advanced Teacher Training students and to experienced practitioners by application.

Develop the skills to...

Teach therapeutic yoga for common conditions from a science and somatically based, self-inquiry perspective to foster student agency, resilience, and whole person coherence. Guide experiential anatomy inquiries to deepen a felt sense of anatomical structures and relationships, helping students explore the laboratory of their own body and integrate embodied awareness into movement and daily life. Educate students to navigate all koshic levels to establish true health (svastha) and live from a place of wholeness. Teach experiential anatomy informed cues that support safe and intelligent alignment and movement choices, prevent injury, and address common structural imbalances. Incorporate the kosha model and yoga philosophy when working therapeutically with common musculoskeletal, physiological, and psychological conditions. Prioritise state over shape by deepening students’ interoceptive awareness so they cultivate inner states rather than achieve postures. Confidently articulate the science validating a somatically based approach to interoceptive and proprioceptive awareness for balanced living and whole person healing. Refine intake skills, including observation of structural, movement, and breath patterns, to design potent classes and offer intelligent modifications. Plan transformative classes using a four-step process: nervous system regulation, harnessing neuroplasticity for alignment and movement re-patterning, and integration of new skills into movement practice and daily life.
