Being Yoga: A Living Tradition

Clare Culpin

A really comprehensive course with great teachers. Lots of areas of both learning and consideration that is impactful both on personal practice and the experience of being yoga, and on how i approach teaching.

The Great Connector: Psosas and Resilience

Karin Liechti

During the course I could feel a shift how I stand, the feeling was much more grounded and a deep feeling of safety. I can totally recommend the course if you want to connect to your inner power

Somatics, Creativity, Language, and the Art of Teaching Yoga

Kate Tomlinson

Beautifully presented, inspiring workshop. Clear guidance, particularly regarding the experience of the breath. Lots of food for thought: how to direct people to feel, and act on, their experience inside their bodies.

Attending a workshop with Lisa Petersen opens your eyes to what teaching can truly be—a refreshing alternative to the high-pressure 'teacher-knows-best' mindset and rigid alignment rules. This approach replaces the stress of being on the pedestal with the joy of co-creation. From a language perspective, it’s deeply inspiring, showing how crucial the right words are for transmitting subtle internal sensations rather than giving commands. From this place, the teacher acts as a master facilitator: holding a clear space that encourages students to inhabit their own experience and discover the joy of movement. A practical next step that would complement this beautifully is a workshop on how to communicate why teachers are still vital in this framework—helping students understand that guided inquiry doesn't mean a teacher isn't needed, but rather that their expertise is what makes the space safe enough to explore.

Thought Provoking Content, Behaviour Changing Teaching. Yet again, Judith demonstrates a genuinely heartfelt commitment to increasing self-awareness through staying present with what is. Helping me understand, and provide tools to overcome, what's really going on behind the usual defend / attack language of "getting what I need". With effortless ease she helps unpick tricky everyday situations ("why am I the only one who loads the dishwasher?") and breaks it down into more manageable chunks in search of a compassionate solution for all those involved. Brilliantly taught. And generously participated in by those who were live (thank you for your honesty). Highly recommend.
